What is the best lense for Nikon D40 for action shots? - nikon d40 tough case
I'm new to cameras, but I decided I will buy a Nikon D40 too. I wonder what is the best, affordable, the target of action photos with the Nikon D40. Help please?

At high enough ISO Shutterspeed, all lenses will work.
Going for the sport, you probably need a longer range than the kit 18-55mm, so I suggest that the 55-200mm VR. This is very good) with VR (Vibration Reduction feature that virtually eliminates the need for a tripod. As "S Lens" series, perfect with your D40 autofocus.

The next line is a bit expensive, but plenty of action. The Nikon 70-300mm VR has to bring all the properties of 55-200mm VR and a good selection and really closer to the subject.
